History Our Journey

CG Farmer Foundation draws its inspiration from the long-standing legacy of the CottonGuru Group, which has been associated with the cotton value chain for more than a century. CottonGuru’s journey began in 1903 and has been built on trust, ethical values, deep farmer relationships, and continuous adaptation to the needs of the cotton industry.

Over generations, the group has worked closely with farmers, traders, ginners, mills, textile companies, brands, and institutions. CG Foundation carries forward this legacy into the development sector with a renewed focus on farmer welfare, tribal women empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and climate-resilient cotton.

The Foundation represents a natural extension of CottonGuru’s philosophy: cotton can become a vehicle for rural prosperity, environmental sustainability, and inclusive development.
