Strategy & Aims Roadmap to 2030

Our roadmap to 2030.

Our Strategy: Tradition of Trust, Farmer First

CG Farmer Foundation’s strategy is to become India’s most trusted implementation and impact platform for cotton-based rural development. Our aim is to bring together farmer communities, corporates, foundations, brands, FPOs, and institutions to create measurable and long-lasting change.

Our Strategic Priorities

Our strategy focuses on creating long-term social, environmental, and economic impact by strengthening farmer livelihoods, promoting sustainable agriculture, and building resilient rural communities.

1. Farmer Livelihood Improvement

Improve cotton farmer income through better farming practices, reduced input costs, quality improvement, and stronger market access.

2. Transition to Sustainable Farming

Support farmers in moving from chemical-intensive agriculture towards natural, organic, regenerative, and low-carbon cotton practices.

3. Women-Led Rural Development

Empower tribal women and rural women as community leaders, Krishi-Sakhis, micro-entrepreneurs, trainers, and agents of change.

4. Demonstration-Led Adoption

Use Pradarshan Khets as practical learning centres where farmers can see, compare, trust, and adopt improved practices and technologies.

5. Climate-Positive Cotton Communities

Promote soil health, biochar, composting, crop residue management, water conservation, and climate-resilient cotton systems.

6. CSR and Grant-Backed Scale

Mobilize CSR and grant capital to create structured, transparent, and scalable programs with clear impact outcomes.
