Climate Resilient Agriculture Programme
Strengthening farms against climate and soil stress.
Cotton farmers are facing rising input costs, soil stress, water uncertainty and increasing climate risk. For smallholder and tribal farmers, even one poor season can affect household income, debt, food security and future investment in farming. Climate resilient agriculture is not just about changing farming methods. It is about helping farmers reduce risk, protect their land and improve long-term income stability CG Farmer Foundation supports smallholder cotton farmers in moving towards farming systems that are better for the soil, safer for the farmer and more resilient to climate stress.
Our work focuses on practical field interventions: better agronomic practices, soil health improvement, biochar application, water conservation, reduced chemical dependency and farmer training."
